World health organization has declared Swine Flu, as global pandemic and has warn it's 'unstoppable. now this being the worse news you had heard in a long time. with you stop being foolish. listen to what they are telling you before it's to late. don't you realize what is happening around the world. the 4 horsemen has been unleash here on earth Yet only 56% of americans aren't worry about the Swine Flu, isn't this foolish of them The UN's top health official has opened a forum in Mexico on combating swine flu by saying that the spread of the virus worldwide is now unstoppable. World Health Organization head Margaret Chan added that the holding of the meeting in Cancun showed confidence in Mexico, which has been hard hit. The WHO says most H1N1 cases are mild, with many people recovering unaided.As the summit opened, the UK alone was projecting more than 100,000 new cases of H1N1 a day by the end of the summer. While Mexico in the northern hemisphere has seen swine flu cases decreased, the peak of the flu season is approaching in South America and some areas have declared a public health emergency. Paraguay has reported its first fatality, while in Central America El Salvador has also recorded its first swine flu death. 'Mild symptoms' "As we see today, with well over 100 countries reporting cases, once a fully fit pandemic virus emerges, its further international spread is unstoppable," Dr Chan said in her opening remarks. She stressed that the overwhelming majority of patients experienced mild symptoms and made a full recovery within a week, often in the absence of any form of medical treatment. The exceptions, she said, were pregnant women and people with underlying health problems, who were at higher risk from complications from the virus and should be monitored if they fell ill. "For a pandemic of moderate severity, this is one of our greatest challenges: helping people to understand when they do not need to worry, and when they do need to seek urgent care," Dr Chan said. Turning to the summit venue, the WHO chief added: "Mexico is a safe, as well as a beautiful and warmly gracious, place to visit." Leaders and experts from 50 countries are in Cancun for the two-day meeting to discuss strategies for combating the virus. It has been more than two months since the initial alert over swine flu. Since then, the H1N1 virus has entered more than 100 countries, infected more than 70,000 people and killed more than 300 worldwide. Authorities across South America are becoming increasingly concerned as the peak flu season approaches. Schools across Argentina have sent students home and pregnant women have been told they can take two weeks off work to avoid contracting the virus. It's just flu, people. Stop making mountains out of molehills. Typically, in a year's normal two flu seasons (one per hemisphere), there are between three and five million cases of severe illness and up to 500,000 deaths worldwide. Then people see 300 dead from Swine Flu and scream that the sky is falling, lol.

No, because every year thousands of people die in the UK of 'normal' flu, and nobody bats an eyelid. So far, about 35 people have died of swine flu, and 30 of them were old and weak anyway. So I'm not worried in the slightest.

We're way overdue for a high casualty epidemic, I'm cheering it on, hoping it does it's work well.

I know several people that have had it and they're all fine. It's not any worse than any other flu, it's only concerning because there is no vaccine (yet) so people who are normally at risk from regular flu are unprotected. It's not the end of the world, princess, so dry your eyes.

Considering that millions of people have already got or had swine flu and the vast majority recover, the death rate is not significantly higher than normal seasonal flu. Scaremongering doesn't help anyone.

Swine flu is just a money spinner for the big pharma companies, People die of seasonal flu every year. Often the vaccine causes more problems that the virus. Its all just hype to get people to panic & accept forced vaccinations which have bypassed all safety protocols & for which the manufacturers are immune from prosecution should anyone suffer death or injury from these vaccines.

You do realize 36,000 people died in the US and hundred of thousands are infected every year due to the "regular" flu ... less then 500 people had died of this one so far ... Wash your hands ... cover your mouth ... our moms were right you should really be asking yourself ... "Why do people need something to fear..." The pharmaceutical companies are the ones fueling this fire ... take a step back and realize you are being manipulated ...

(c) Supply for USD; the use of the British Pound is necesary in the UK therefore the USD will not be of any assistance to the student studying in Oxford for a summer. (d) Demand for USD; The demand for the dollar will increase before they use the service of the American freighter to ship their products to Argentina. (e) Supply for USD; If those trading currency feel as if its value is going to depreciate, or fall, they're going to be inclined to sell the US dollar.
