Why do Americans think of Che Guevara as a dark latino who helped his people? ?
He was a good man who did help the people of Latin America but he was not a poor dark indian latino. He was an upper middle class WHITE medical student from Argentina. He was like Lawrence of Arabia for the Latinos. Yet, why do Americans think of Che as a dark Latino who came from the barrio? They never think of him as a white man even though he was of Spanish Basque and Irish decent.

Che was not a good man. He was a passionate man with misplaced ideals and a twisted sense of right and wrong. He was a ruthless killer. Still, The Motorcycle Diaries was a pretty good movie.

Because americans are ignorant and they think they are the only white people on earth. Anyways argentinians are of mapuche descendance too.
