Hi, we study the same as you. We study maths, geography, history, english (of course, in spanish), we have p.e too, its exactly the same. We also learn english, italian, german and french. But, we study our own history, like Australians study about Captain Cook, and the Aboriginal People, we study about our own. And of course about general culture and world´s history, and important characters. Good luck Amy

Working as a Doctor in Argentina?
Working as a Doctor in Argentina?
I am a medical student and as soon as I graduate I would like to go work in Argentina. Are there any special exams which I need to take inorder to work as a doctor there (like the USMLEs in the US)? Thanks

Call the Argentine Consulate, and ask them about a workers visa and and certifications you may need to practice medicine.
2 :
You´ll need to present your title and pass an exam that´s called "reválida de tÃtulo".

Argentina appitizers or desserts?
Argentina appitizers or desserts?
I am doing a research project on Argentina for my Spanish class. I was hoping to bring a food native to Argentina that my whole class could enjoy. It has to be able to feed over thirty students and be fairly easy to make. Thanks for your help

Empanadas are the first thing that came to my mind when you said: "It has to be able to feed over thirty students and be fairly easy to make". Also, they are rich and can be made of jam and cheese, meat, chicken, fish and a lot of things more ^^.

How long does it take to get the jist of a language with Rosetta Stone?
I'm American and I'm going to Argentina for two months as an exchange student and I was wondering how long it takes to get a good understanding of Spanish with Rosetta Stone?

I have that program and as long as you are diligent and stick with it, it is a great program. I don't memorize as fast as you might, yet I found I was learning quickly. How long depends on the time you are willing to put into this.
2 :
I would say about a month.
3 :
It depends if you're serious with yourself about learning the language. Personally, I know myself and I wasn't serious enough and I wouldn't put enough time into learning with such a method. I need at least bi-weekly classes (or even more, that's even better) in order to work on it regularly.
