Buenos Aires, Argentina vs. Barcelona, Spain?
I'm a female college student with an opportunity to study abroad to either Buenos Aires, Argentina or Barcelona, Spain. Any advice in terms of safety, people, language, expenses on food/drinks, cleanliness? Also your overall opinion of your trip : ) Thanks!

All the following are based on my experience and knowledge in Buenos Aires, where i live: Safety: Buenos Aires is a big city, with many different places. There are places more dangerous than others, but if you are careful nothing will happen. Dont show any cellphone or money in the street. I've never been robed in my 18 years. People: Argentine people in general is very warm and friendly, you can ask anyone who has been here. I think this is a common fact in south america, and i dont think europeans are like us. And we are even better people with foreigners than with other argentines xD- Language: Well, latin american spanish is very different to spain spanish, and argentine spanish is different to latin american spanish :P, but the difference is 90% in the accent, the rest is almost the same. Price: Argentina is a cheap country to foreigners, this is one of the reasons that people of all around the world choose it. This is a huge difference with Spain and the rest of Europe. We are a giant food productor country, so the price of it is much cheaper than its in Spain. If you like meat, this is the perfect place for you :P Cleanliness: This may vary on the location you are, places where tourist usually go are clean and the most expensive neighborhoods too, it doesn't mean that the others are dirty, but there is a difference. I recommend you to see photos of Puerto Madero, Palermo, Recoleta and the 9 de Julio avenue.
