How hard would it be for me to obtain German citizenship?
I was born and raised in Argentina to parents of German background. My mother was born in Germany and came here before I was born and my father was born in Argentina to German parents (his parents were German war criminals though and came to Argentina after World War II). I am a university student and plan to become a doctor. I don't want to stay in Argentina though and want to live and work in Germany and have been there before to visit and liked it. How hard will it be to get German citizenship? My mother actually still has her German citizenship.

The obvious thing to do would be to contact the German embassy. They will know best.
