How come Students toss tantrum, demand release of detained illegal aliens claim no laws broken?
POMPANO BEACH - A Miami-Dade College student stood outside the Broward Transitional Center on North Powerline Road Monday afternoon. He has no desire to see the inside of the building. It's a detention center. They put people there until their immigration status is determined, or until they're deported. The student, Nahuel, entered the United States legally as a child, but his visa expired in 2002, and his family, he said, has waged a long and unsuccessful battle against the immigration bureaucracy to legalize their status. The rest of his family has been deported to Argentina. Nahuel, 19, who declined to give his last name, is the last one here, and that may end after his next hearing. Dozens of demonstrators organized by the Florida Immigrant Coalition protested Monday on behalf of students like Nahuel, who face deportation despite efforts to obtain college degrees and their professed desire to become U.S. citizens. "This place was set up for people who have committed no crime," said Maria Rodriguez, the coalition's executive director. "Do we want our tax dollars spent on housing and detaining people who have committed no crime?" Nahuel said he's trying to work within the law to correct his status. As the crowd around him chanted "Education, not deportation," Nahuel said he wanted to finish his education and take the oath of citizenship. "I want to make a living and contribute to society," he said. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/broward/pompano-beach/sfl-immigration-demo-bn101909,0,2492803.story

Hey, Nahuel. Go home and get your education there.

i believe that if you are a legal immigrant then welcome to america the land f the free and home of the brave but if your illegal then you need to go home

There is a reason their long battle against immigration bureaucracy was unsuccessful. I wonder why those reasons were not listed, why the reporter just went for the bleeding heart angle. The family is at fault for not working to fix their status BEFORE it expired. They made the mistake, not my fault and at 19 Nahuel also knew better. They believe that because they came legally they should be able to stay even through they failed to renew their status on time.

Ignorant of the law? I doubt it and ignorance of the law is no excuse anyhow. This person knew his visa expired and when it did, he became an illegal alien. No ones fault but his own. Deport. The demonstrators are being used by the F. I. Coalition, more of the brain-washed young people from our schools.

Long distance relationship?
Long distance relationship?
I am 18 and i just graduated high school 3 months ago. I dated a foreign exchange student for 10 months before she left. In August I went to Argentina and I made a lot of friends and I loved every minute with her. Now I am suppose to leave for the Navy in October but I'm thinking I should say forget it and go to Argentina and stay with friends who have offered, and get a job because i speak english and be with her for an uncertain amount of time. Is this worth it. I am completely in love.

I advise you to go to the Navy and start a career for yourself. What you and her have isnt promised forever. Take it from me, when I was young and just getting out of high school, I put my education off and I am now 25 and have nothing to fall back on. Time doesnt last forever. I advise you to do you and get your life on track and then if she loves you she will be waiting on you. Good Luck

Azure. @Stunner; I bet I wont have to worry if I'm japanese! although we're in the same continent, but I'm muslim(1), Arabian (2),..SAUDI (3). I saw '11fahrenheit movie' blaming KSA 4everything& 'Borat' which shows many american extremists in real life. every place there's good&bad, but 'caution' level noticeably increase if it's about a saudi and a US..! @hunga bunga; I'm a KFUPM student! :) Canada is a good choice, but as I said, the US is a godfather 4many of managers here, especially those whom graduated old time ago from there, most of them have no self esteem &don't value local colleges although I bet we're better than most universities. I'm sayin that cuz i've e-friends study in the US, and I read about their curriculums and other aspects as activities and evaluations. @me; ...god help me!

Anyway your government is investing billions in universities so you have KFUPM in Dhahran and other excellent universities there.. If you like to study outside, you can go to Beirut, AUB diploma is considered all over the world. If you don't feel confortable to go to states, you have million alternative choices.

Well I think you might have to change your attitude. or all you'll find is aggravation, no matter where you go.
5 :
I'm sure that if you're a nice person then everyone will like you and will not care that you are from Saudi Arabia. There are more mature people in colleges usually. By the way, the Saudi Arabian embassy in Buenos Aires is really cool and big :)

If depends somewhat on your attitude. I spent 2 years in your country and almost everyone was really nice to me. Always, inculding Saudia Arabia, people are nicer in the smaller towns. Alain a Amerika wa sallaam.

These situations all refer to the foreign exchange market. The basic concept that applies is that goods and services are paid for in the currency of the supplier, so the buyer exchanges his home currency for the currency that the goods and services are traded in. The buyer thus sells, or supplies, his country's currency and buys, or demands, the currency of the seller. With that in mind, here are the answers: A) Demand for US dollars B) Supply C) Supply D) Demand E) Supply For E, the currency traders will sell US dollars now, before the value decreases, and buy them later, after the value decreases.
2 :
A) demand for USD. this is an example of Foreign direct investment. The Japanese firm demand US dollar in order to invest in US. B) Supply for USD. US importer will offer USD to purchase Saudi Arabia Riyal before he/she can purchase the oil. C) Supply for USD. Same concept as in (B) US student offer USD to purchase British Pound before study in UK. D) Demand for USD. French exporter demand USD before he/she can purchase the service of American freighter. E) Supply for USD. Currency trader that feel value of USD will fall will sell USD in foreign exchange market. Hope that helps! sportandstock.blogspot.com
